Welcome to Candid Candles!
I started this business as I was frustrated when buying candles which brought waste. I would clean around the candle for months before throwing the jar and whatever wax remained in the bin. Sound familiar?
So, for five months I focused on designing a candle line with the aim of making purposeful and intentional candles to bring happiness into your lives. These candles are look and smell delicious so that you will burn the whole thing, then you can order a refill.
NO MORE THROWING OUT JARS!
Another key feature of these refillable candles is that they are made from coconut wax. This wax is vegan with no animal testing or animal products used and no genetically modified ingredients. Coconut wax is non-toxic and burns cleaner than most waxes emitting little to no smoke or soot. Coconut wax has a bright white colour and burns slower producing a greater scent throw when lit.
I carefully selected the type of jar to be sturdy and long lasting. A chestnut wood lid to ensure the candle has longevity. I use premium Australian made Fragrance Oils to scent the refillable candles.
The label of the candle is designed in collaboration with a local artist Sarah Smith from The Art Project. Sarah’s abstract arts is bright, fun and vibrant. The perfect fit for these candles. Check her out at the_art_project_trangie on instragram.

Additionally, I make and sell stunning moulded candles which are categorised as decorative candles or burning pillar candles. These candles make great decor items, being aesthetically pleasing in a space. The burning pillar candles are excellent burners and are scented with essential oils for a more subtle and wholesome scent.
